Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the strategic direction for the business in alignment with global objectives and provide administrative leadership to the day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee all operational functions, especially sales, service, engineering, process automation, and project management.
  • P/L responsibility to ensure financial performance goals are met.
  • Responsible for equipment and service business primarily in Pharmaceuticals (PTP) and also in non-Pharmaceutical (PTF) markets and applications.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer focus.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and industry networks.
  • Interface with group management to enhance worldwide performance.
  • Staff motivation, development, hiring, and firing in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Develop and implement plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ongoing business development strategies and tactics.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through both personal and subordinates’ activities.
  • Maintain proficiency and observe trends in all technical and market areas related to equipment, services, and technology.
  • Deliver market insights and intelligence for the evaluation of product development & product management.
  • Contribute to the development of the company (exploring new markets, lead generation, identifying opportunities for sales and partnerships).
  • Develop a strong, self-reliant service team for local and global services.
  • Ensure compliance with group standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Mechanical, Automation, or Process Technology), MBA (management or marketing) preferred.
  • 10-15 years of managerial experience preferred, in the pharmaceutical or related process industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to travel domestically (20%-25%) as needed, as well as occasional international travel.
