This is a dynamic position that is highly visible to company colleagues and customer stakeholders. As a subject matter expert in imaging equipment, the Senior Imaging Service Specialist will perform repairs, maintain, and document work.

This is a dedicated role to one hospital facility that will be full-time onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for general troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical repairs
  • Maintain OEM equipment (for example: Siemens, Philips, GE, Canon, etc.) and record all work performed in company’s CMMS
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs to any of the following: CT, MRI, X-Ray, C-arms, Fluoroscopy, etc.
  • Leverage all standard test equipment for installations, calibrations, and planned maintenance: multimeter, invasive and non-invasive X-ray meter, oscilloscope, service software and keys, dosimeter, hand and power tools, AC line analyzer, phantoms
  • Read, analyze, interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Interpret and utilize service manuals, schematics, and other applicable service information
  • Perform/document planned maintenance and repair of the diagnostic imaging equipment and systems
  • Interact effectively with company personnel and clinical staff in accordance with company’s operational and personnel policies/procedures

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience conducting imaging repairs and using test equipment. Must have experience with Siemens imaging equipment
  • Regulatory knowledge (TJC, DNV, CAP, DOH)
  • Follow OSHA guidelines while in a hazardous environment - electrocution potentials, mechanical energies, bloodborne/airborne pathogens, dust and inclement weather, marked changes in temperature and/or humidity, radiation, fumes/vapors, sharp instruments/tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices

Education/Special Training

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree or Technical Certification preferred
  • CBET, CRES, or OEM training preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft and Google software applications (Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.)
